PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core tube for winding copper foil and its winding method which prevent or reduce generation of wrinkles. SOLUTION: This is a long core tube for winding copper foil and is characterized in that its diameter gradually decreases from the center to the end. The method is characterized in that, using a double-sided pressure-sensitive tape with release paper attached, the copper foil is spliced and then wound around this tapered core tube.
