<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller which is excellent in terms of surface smoothness and whose surface electric resistance is uniform, and also, whose durability is improved, as for an electrophotographic image forming conductive roller, to provide a method for manufacturing the roller, and also, to provide an electrophotographic device using the roller. <P>SOLUTION: As for the foam conductive roller, the surface smoothness is improved by filling hole parts in the surface with thermally foaming particles, heating the particles and making the particles expand, besides, conductivity applying materials are added so as to maintain good conductivity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
