<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which presupposes that each function unit is connected to a packet switch network which has a function for routing packet data and further improves data transfer efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: In this image forming device in which each function unit (scanner unit 2 plotter unit 6, etc.) is connected to the packet switch network 1 which has the function for routing the packet data, each function unit has a multicast data transmitting function for simultaneously transferring data to a plurality of opposite function units through the packet switch network 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
