PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that can call a function even when there is a difference between a function used by an application and a function at the side of a control service.

SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus comprises an application for performing a processing in relation to forming of an image and a control service for performing a processing at a side of a system according to a function call from the application. The image forming apparatus has a lapping processing means that converts the function called by the application and performs a function call to the control service by using the converted function.
