<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unauthorized use of package software due to illegal copying and decrease of sales volume for a software distribution source. <P>SOLUTION: A user device 1, which has executed installer generation software 22 stored in a medium 2, when a request for installing the package software 21 is made, makes connections to a distribution source server 3 which manages installation for each medium, using an interface management database 34 to request for an installer 33; thus confirming whether the package software 21 stored in the medium 2 has been installed already. If the package software has not been installed, as the result of the confirmation, the installer 33 downloaded from the distribution source server 3 is executed, thereby installing the package software 21 from the medium 2.
