DRIVING FORCE CONTROLLER FOR FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a shock occurring at release of a clutch interposed between the motor and the driven wheel of a batteryless motor four-wheel drive vehicle.

SOLUTION: This driving force controller suppresses and prevents the shock at release of a clutch by quickly reducing the target motor torque at transition from four-wheel drive state to two-wheel drive state, thereby reducing the deviation between the actual motor torque and the target value, when the quantity of generated power of a generator by an engine is small in such a situation as the opening of an accelerator APO is at or under a specified value APO1 or under or the change gear ratio (reduction gear ratio) is at or under a specified value.
