<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna that enables operation in a plurality of frequency bands without changing the size of a low monopole antenna and to obtain the same directivity as the conventional monopole antenna. <P>SOLUTION: The multifrequency dielectric planar antenna comprises: a circular dielectric substrate whose center has a through hole; a first capacity loaded electrode formed around the through hole on the surface of the dielectric substrate; a second capacity loaded electrode formed inside the dielectric substrate from the wall surface of the through hole to the periphery of the through hole; a ground electrode formed on the back of the dielectric substrate; a radiation electrode formed at one portion on the wall surface of the through hole for connecting the first and second capacity loaded electrodes to the ground one; and a terminal pin where a large diameter section coming into contact with the radiation electrode, and a small diameter section that does not come into contact with the radiation electrode, are provided at the surface and back sides of the dielectric substrate, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
