<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a numerical aperture of semiconductor particles is small and the conversion efficiency is low in a solar cell using the semiconductor particles. <P>SOLUTION: In the solar cell, a plurality of semiconductor particles 5 indicating one conductivity are arranged on a substrate 1, an insulator 4 is arranged between the semiconductor particles 5, and a semiconductor layer 6 indicating a reverse conductivity is provided on the semiconductor particles 5 and the insulator 4.
