PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of performing two-color expression of multi-gradation with a simple processor configuration. SOLUTION: This image processor is provided with a reading unit 100 for reading an original and generating a digital image composed of at least two colors, an IPP 102 for applying digital processing to the data of the digital image read by the reading unit 100, changing color data and density data outputted from a CDIC 103, correcting image data of the respective colors and reproducing the gradation of the density data by an error diffusion method on the basis of a variation threshold, and the CDIC 103 for determining whether to be a prescribed color about each color component of data of the digital image read by the reading unit 100 and outputting the color data showing a determination result and the density data showing the density of the color. The IPP 102 modulates the density data of each color to gradations which are different between an area of a designated color and an area without the designated color on the basis of the color data outputted from the CDIC 103.
