PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric oscillator which reduces current of a piezoelectric vibrator with a simple circuit configuration. SOLUTION: In this oscillation circuit, a circuit obtained by connecting a piezoelectric element X (10 MHz) and a capacitor C2 (100 pF) in series is connected between an input and an output of an inverter IV. In addition, a circuit obtained by serially connecting a capacitor C1 to a clamp circuit obtained by connecting diodes D1 and D2 in parallel is connected between an input and an output of the inverter IV, and input and output terminals of the inverters IV are grounded by capacitor C4 (100 pF) and C5 (100 pF), respectively. A feedback resistor R1 (100 kΩ) is also connected between the inputs and the outputs of the inverter IV in order to easily start oscillation. A series circuit of a fixed resistor R2 (10 kΩ) and a capacitor C3 (1000 pF) extracts an output signal from the output terminal. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
