PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide photothermographic dry imaging material having high sensitivity, low fog and excellent stability of tones in a silver image after long-term storage or heat development and having improved resistance against irregularity in an image or exposure stability, and to provide an image recording method and an image forming method by using the imaging material. SOLUTION: The silver halide photothermographic dry imaging material has a photosensitive layer containing at least organic silver halide particles, photosensitive silver halide particles, a reducing agent of silver ion and a binder. The photosensitive layer contains a bisphenol compound expressed by general formula (1) and a compound expressed by general formula (2):D<SB>1</SB>-[La-(D<SB>2</SB>)q<SB>1</SB>]r<SB>1</SB>M<SB>1</SB>m<SB>1</SB>and having a plurality of dye chromophores.
