PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump and heat using device capable of enhancing the coefficient of performance. SOLUTION: This heat pump 1 has a first coolant circuit 2 for drawing heat from a low-temperature object in the evaporation process of a coolant and giving the heat to a high-temperature object in the condensation process of the coolant, and a second coolant circuit 2 for drawing heat from a low-temperature object in the decomposition process of a gas hydrate and giving the heat to a high-temperature object in the generation process of the gas hydrate. The first coolant circuit 2 and the second coolant circuit 3 are in the relation of mutually exchanging heat. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
