PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a pot type burner capable of quickly vaporizing kerosene which becomes spherical shape when a pot bottom face has high temperature and stabilizing combustion performance. SOLUTION: A bottomed cylindrical pot 3 in which many small diameter air holes 2 are provided on a side wall is mounted in an air tunnel 1 in which air for combustion is fed. Tips of a fuel pump 4 and an oil feeding pipe 6 continuous with a fuel pipe 5 are positioned in the pot 3. The bottom face of the pot 3 is formed by a plane part 3a formed at the center and an inclined face 3b facing upward toward the side wall of the pot 3 from the plane part 3a. A ringlike wire material 7 is arranged between a part below the tip of an oil feeding nozzle 6 and outer periphery of the plane part 3a on the bottom face of the pot 3. Consequently, kerosene which becomes spherical shape when the bottom face of the pot 3 has high temperature and flows on the inclined face 3b hits the ringlike wire material 7 and is vaporized so that a ball of kerosene does not become large on the bottom face of the pot 3 to prevent abrupt formation of a flame.
