PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method capable of inexpensively and easily providing a brake pad improved in strength and abrasion resistance. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of the brake pad uses materials of a fiber base material selected from inorganic fiber, organic fiber and metallic fiber, a friction conditioner, a filler and binder resin. A solvent capable of solve the binder resin is added and mixed with a mixture in a range of more than 5wt.% and less than 50wt.% of quantity of the binder resin after mixing the material made of the fiber base material, the friction conditioner, the filler and the binder resin in a dry process.
