PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air intake control device for a fuel injection type engine, for reducing partial mixture concentration and improving atomization/uniformity of injection fuel, and improving engine output and purification of exhaust gas, and providing both of transient responsiveness of the engine and output improvement. SOLUTION: This air intake control device for the fuel injection type engine comprises a sub-throttle valve 52 on the upstream side having a rotating shaft 52s orthogonal to an air intake passage, a main throttle valve 51 on the downstream side having a rotating shaft 51s orthogonal to the air intake passage and provided in parallel to the sub-throttle valve 52, an upstream injector 53a provided facing the sub-throttle valve 52, and a downstream injector 53b disposed facing a combustion chamber 36 at an opposite position to the upstream side injector 53a with the main throttle valve 51 sandwiched at a downstream side of the main throttle valve 51.
