PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet material automatic feeding device that exhibits high safety in operation by an operator. SOLUTION: In this sheet material automatic feeding device for feeding automatically a sheet material stacked on a mount one by one, there are provided a covering means for covering space formed between the mount and a device body located in front of a stacked surface of the sheet material on the mount at operation, or a space detecting means for detecting an entry when part of the body of the operator enters the area at operation.
