<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device by which a user can immediately record a photographed image in an RAw format with a simple operation when the user wants record the photographed image in the RAW format and efficiently use a recording medium and to provide an image pickup device controlling method, its recording medium and its program. <P>SOLUTION: A memory 30 stores RAM image data (RAW format) obtained by digitizing an imaging signal from an image pickup element 14 by an A/D converter 16. A system control circuit 50 records the RAW image data on a recording medium 200 or 210 on the basis of a recording instruction that instructs the RAW image data so as to be recorded on the recording medium 200 or 210 and controls this image pickup device 100 so as to erase JPEG image data corresponding to the RAW image data from the recording medium 200 or 210. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
