PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multimode communication terminal capable of respectively performing charging control of a plurality of communication systems in accordance with a communication system during communication. SOLUTION: This multimode communication terminal is provided with a first communicating part 10 for performing communication in a first communication system, a second communicating part 11 for performing communication in a second communication system, a communication system switching part 12 for selecting one of the first or second communicating parts 10 and 11 to switch communication systems, a control part 13 for managing states selected by the communication system switching part 12 and a charging control method switching part 14, a first charging control part 15 for performing charging control of a secondary battery 17 when the second communicating part 10 is selected, a second charging control part 16 for performing charging control of the secondary battery 17 when the second communicating part 11 is selected, a charging control system switching parts 14 for switching the charging control systems by selecting one of the first or second charging control parts 15 and 16, and the secondary battery 17 subjected to charging control by the first or second charging control part 15 or 16.
