PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quicken recovery after suppressing excessive input while suppressing a sense of incongruity in listening feel. SOLUTION: When the level of a sound signal inputted to a B input of a comparator 14 is higher than a threshold value A, an AAT (attack time) value is attenuated by outputtting a pressure reducing valve C to an adder-subtracter 26, and a boosting value D stored in a smoother 21 is outputted to the adder-subtracter 26 by outputting the boosting value D to the smoother 21.
