PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal that recognizes a particular code corresponding to a function when a user uses the function of the communication terminal so as to omit required settings and a complicated operation procedure thereby enhancing the user's convenience. SOLUTION: A system control section 4 searches a management section 13 in response to an identification code entered from each terminal 2a and confirms a setting item required for a function corresponding to the identification code when the received identification code is registered in the management section 13 and performs the processing with respect to the corresponding function when the item required to perform the corresponding function is set. When the management section 13 does not register the received identification code, the communication terminal 1 informs the terminal 2a about it to reject the access to the communication terminal 1.
