PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a connector for a fuel tank suitable for a fuel tank of a two-wheeled vehicle by reducing a downward projection of a terminal pin housing recessed part on a fuel tank side projecting downward from a lower surface of a cover body. SOLUTION: A connector 1 for the fuel tank comprises a cylindrical part 2 forming a cylinder shape, a terminal pin housing recessed part 5 on the fuel tank side projected downward from the cylindrical part 2, and an engaging piece part 6 having an engaging part 6A formed on an outer peripheral part of the terminal pin housing recessed part 5 on the fuel tank side. An insertion hole part 11, in which an insertion hole 11A of the terminal pin housing recessed part on the fuel tank side and an insertion hole 11B of an engaging piece are communicated, is drilled on a cover body 10, and a sleeve 12 is fixed on an upper surface 10A of the cover body 10. The cylindrical part 2 is supported on the sleeve 12 through a seal ring R, a lower surface 3A of a collar part 3 is abutted on an upper end 12B of the sleeve 12, and the engaging part 6A is abutted on a lower end 12B of the sleeve 12 through the insertion hole 11B of the engaging piece.
