PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new low-volatile compounds having a high level of flame retardance and ultraviolet absorptivity. SOLUTION: The benzotriazolyl group-containing phosphoric esters are represented by formula (1) [wherein, R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>denote each a bis(6-12C aryl)phosphoroxy group or the like which may have a substituent; and R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>4</SP>denote each a 1-8C alkyl group, a hydroxy group, a hydroxy-1-8C alkyl group, a bis(6-12C aryl)phosphoroxy group which may have a substituent, a bis(6-12C aryl)phosphoroxy-1-8C alkyl group or the like which may have a substituent, with the proviso that at least one of R<SP>1</SP>to R<SP>4</SP>is a bis(6-12C aryl)phosphoroxy group which may have a substituent or a bis(6-12C aryl)phosphoroxy-1-8C alkyl group which may have a substituent; n denotes an integer of 0 or 1; and the benzene ring and benzotriazole ring in the formula may have a substituent other than the substituents described in the formula].
