PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain case for a motorcycle, which can be easily molded and assembled with resin, and can reduce costs by decreasing a number of parts, material costs, and mold costs. SOLUTION: Parts 1A' (1B'), upper and lower halves are integrally molded for approximately right-left symmetry with resin with a centerline a as a border, and a resin hinge is formed on the centerline a. Each part 1A' (1B') is folded around the resin hinge into a bag-like half-divided member, and respective upper and lower half members are attached to a rear arm, respectively, so as to constitute a chain case for a motorcycle. This invention can reduce a number of parts, material costs, and mold costs, because a chain case that has been conventionally constituted of four plate metallic pieces can be constituted of two resin pieces.
