AUTONOMOUS TRAVELING DEVICE WITH CLEANING FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent tumble etc. during a user is not at home by improving mapping precision regardless of whether the user is at home or not in an autonomous device with sweeping function. SOLUTION: This device comprises: an absence mode which is a traveling method when the user is not in home; and a presence mode which is a traveling method when the user is in home. The traveling method is switched by a selected mode among the absence and presence mode. Thus, since the traveling method can be switched depending on whether the user is in home or not, tumble etc. while the user is not in home can be prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
