PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To at least prevent the following troubles: blood sampling tubes prepared for one patient are handled as those for other patients after examination; and blood sampling tubes prepared for two patients are handled as those for one patient after examination. SOLUTION: In an automatic numbering and blood sampling tube preparation system: a required blood sampling tube is taken out of a plurality of kinds of blood sampling tubes being accommodated in advance based on information on the blood sampling tube required for the examination of a patient; an identification number is printed for affixing to the taken-out blood sampling tube; and the blood sampling tube where a label-affixed blood sampling tube is accommodated for each patient. An identification number issue means for automatically numbering a peculiar identification number is provided in one piece or separately. The identification number issue means has an identification number issue button. The identification number is automatically numbered from information on date/time when the issue bouton is pressed. The identification number being issued by the identification number issue means is printed on the label to be affixed to the blood sampling tube. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
