DENTURE STABILIZING AGENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a tacky type denture stabilizing agent having an excellent cleaning property without using an alginate while maintaining the tacky power of a conventional tacky type denture stabilizing agent and capable of maintaining stickiness for a long time. SOLUTION: This tacky type denture stabilizing agent using a water soluble polymer contains only 0.1 to 20 wt.% of calcium sulfate and 3 to 60 wt.% of sodium carboxymethylcellulose as a substance which generates gel by reaction with the calcium sulfate when being in contact with moisture. It is preferable that the water soluble polymers other than the sodium carboxymethylcellulose are composed of a polyacrylate and a polyacrylic acid partially alkaline neutralized matter.
