PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroconductive composition that is excellent in electroconductivity and adhesiveness, chemically stable and favorably used for a coating, an adhesive and an electromagnetic wave shielding agent.

SOLUTION: The electroconductive composition contains graphite particles having an average particle diameter of 10-500 nm obtained by heating and graphitizing carbon black and a binder resin. The electroconductive composition contains graphite particles having an average particle diameter of 10-500nm which is obtained by heating and graphitizing at least one element selected from carbon black, a metal, boron and silicon or a compound containing the element(s) and a binder resin.
