<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact humidifier with reduced noise and high reliability which can increase humidification amount and reduce the power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The humidifier has a vaporization filter 3 having water absorption property, a water feed tank 2 and a fan 4. In the humidifier, an air passage in which indoor air is taken from a suction port 11 of the vaporization filter 3, is passed through the vaporization filter 3 and flows to a blowing-off port 12 is constituted. The water feed tank 2 is formed in a donut-like shape and is disposed at the upper part of the body 1 and an air passage including the fan 4 and a fan motor 5 is formed at the inside thereof. The filter 3 is formed in a donut-like shape and is disposed at the lower part of the water feed tank 2 along an outer peripheral surface of the body 1.
