WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wastewater treatment system capable of efficiently treating nitrogen compounds and phosphorus compounds in a water to be treated and capable of discharging the water to be treated in a state low in environmental load.

SOLUTION: The wastewater treatment system is equipped with a biological treatment septic tank 10 as a wastewater treatment means for treating substances contained in a water to be treated, an electrochemical treatment apparatus 1 as an N/P removing means for removing nitrogen compounds and/or phosphorous compounds by an electrochemical technique and a sterilization device 11 for sterilizing the water to be treated.
