<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling device for an encoder capable of satisfactorily absorbing eccentricity between shafts and satisfactorily isolating heat from a motor without providing separate members. <P>SOLUTION: In this coupling device for an encoder E, a hollow shaft 4 of the encoder E is connected to a shaft 3 of a motor M, and the eccentricities of the shafts 3, 4 are absorbed in an eccentricity absorber 8 mounted between an encoder housing 6 and a motor housing 1. The eccentricity absorber 8 is constructed by intervening a resin intermediate member 10 between the motor housing 1 and the encoder housing 6, and making the motor housing 1, encoder housing 6 and the resin intermediate member 10 into an Oldham coupling shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
