<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for supporting development of a VDC (Vehicle Dynamics Control) system for vehicles in which the specification and the verification of the VDC system can be efficiently and reliably evaluated before a vehicle is completed, and the development process of a VDC system mounted vehicle can be shortened and promoted in efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: In the device for supporting development of the VDC system for vehicles, a real time simulator comprises an evaluation object system simulating means to output simulation data of the compatibility obtained by the real time simulation using a virtual vehicle model set based on the parts characteristic of a vehicle to be evaluated, a master data outputting means to output master data of the compatibility obtained by the vehicle and the VDC system which can reliably obtain the satisfactory system compatibility evaluation in advance, a system compatibility discriminating means to discriminate whether or not the difference between the simulation data and the master data of the compatibility is within a set range, and a system compatibility evaluating means to evaluate that the VDC system to be evaluated is adaptable to the vehicle to be evaluated if the difference in the compatibility is within the set range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
