<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the communication quality of real time communication. <P>SOLUTION: The band management system of a communication network is provided with a plurality of relay node units for individually performing relay processing of a prescribed unit signal transmitted/received between communication terminals and is also provided with a band management apparatus for managing the operating state of a band with respect to each relay node unit in the communication network. Further, the band management apparatus is provided with a call setup control section that permits or rejects call setup depending on the operating state of the band with respect to each relay node unit existing on a path between the communication terminals exchanging the unit signal for the prescribed real time communication after the call setup. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
