The invention relates to a method of dosing at least one additive (A) at the inlet of an injection-moulding press (2) comprising an extrusion screw (20) which is supplied by means of gravity with a polymer (P) in the form of pellets. In order to take account of the difference between the real polymer (P) input flow during the transfer phase and the real polymer (P) input flow during the plastic-coating phase, the additive (A) is introduced at the inlet of the extrusion screw during the transfer phase with an input flow which is different from the input flow used during the plastic-coating phase.
