<p>A concrete pump bin according to the present invention comprises an inner bin (1), and an outer bin (2). The inner bin (1) has a base (7) and outwardly sloping sides (3), which in this example is at 30 DEG ;, but could be of any suitable angle. The outer bin (2 ) has side walls (4) and a base (5), with triangular bracing members (6), welded between the side walls (4) and the base (5). At least one drainage point (8) is located in the side walls (4). The waste in the concrete pump hopper is dumped into the inner bin (1) and the washing and excess liquid drains into the outer bin (2). The drainage point has a removable cap (9) or opening valve, to allow the liquid in the outer bin (2) to be retained therein or to be drained into a suitable container. The concrete can be allowed to set in the inner bin (1) separated from the wash liquid.</p> |
