<p>PURPOSE: Provided is an apparatus for biologically treating sewage, wastewater and livestock wastewater using non-toxic media, which can treat the wastewater to meet with effluent water quality standard of rules and produce liquid fertilizer. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a reaction tank (20), a sediment discharge valve (22) connected to a lower end of the reaction tank (20), multi-step corn-shape supporting members (61,63) installed in the reaction tank (20) for supporting media (62,64), thereby dividing the reaction chamber (20) into a plurality of reaction zones (28a,28b,28c), the media (62,64) provided on the supporting members (61,63), a connection pipe (50) with a plurality of side holes (51), which is installed to penetrate the center of the supporting members (61,63) and extend from the uppermost reaction zone (28c) to the lowermost reaction zone (28a), valves (54,56) connected to the connection pipe (50) for controlling the amount of water to be supplied to each reaction zone (28a,28b,28c), a wastewater supply pipe (33) for simultaneously supplying wastewater to the reaction zones (28a,28b), and an air supply pipe (43) for simultaneously supplying air to the reaction zones (28a,28b).</p> |
