The invention relates to a chip card comprising a chip card body (1) which is produced by injection moulding. In order to produce said chip card body, liquid plastic is introduced into an injection mould tool cavity (2) and after solidification of the plastic, a battery (3) in introduced into the chip card body (1). Said battery (3) has a form which is tapered in size counter to the direction of injection (4) of the liquid plastic into the injection mould tool cavity (2). |
