PURPOSE: A multi-tap compression connector is provided to increase wire pull-out strength, improve holding of tap wires before and while crimping, and increase the general compressibility of a connection connector. CONSTITUTION: A compression connector(20) has a first section(28) connected with a second section(30). The first section has a body part(32) and an end wall(40). The body part of the first section includes an inclined part(36) and a hook part(34) extending to form a main wire port(38), and first and second tap wire ports(42,44) adjacent to the end wall. The second section has a body part and an end wall. The body part of the second section includes an inclined part(58) and a hook part(56) extending to form a main wire port(60), and first and second tap wire ports adjacent to the end wall. A collapsible link is formed between the first and second tap wire ports. The compression connector has a first pair of slots extending on a first side between the first section and the second section, and a second pair of slots extending on a second side between the first section and the second section to receive a cable tie for fixing wires therein before crimping.
