SELECTION NUMBER SYSTEM IN APPROVAL SECURITY

PURPOSE: A selection number system is provided to allow a user to select numbers or characters besides an ID and a password, and to automatically notify a bank or a police of a criminal act if the selected numbers or characters are used. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises several steps. A card user inserts a card into a terminal(B1). The terminal recognizes the inserted card(B2). The user inputs an ID and a password(B3). The terminal compares the input ID and password with those stored at a central processing system(B4). The terminal checks whether a selection number is included in the input ID or password(B5). If the selection number is included in the input ID or password, the terminal notifies a bank, a card company or a police of a criminal act(B6), and a corresponding task is normally processed(B7, B8). If the selection number is not included, a corresponding task is normally processed(B9).
