The drawer has profiles (24, 26) mounted on either side of its base (6). These act as guide rails for opening and closing the drawer and carry corner posts (28, 30, 32, 34), to which the sides (8, 10, 12) of the drawer are fastened. An Independent claim is included for an item of furniture fitted with drawers as described above.
