PURPOSE: To provide a stainless steel alloy strip for electron gun electrode with improved deep drawability and burring workability. CONSTITUTION: The stainless steel alloy strip for electron gun electrode comprises 15 to 20 wt.% of Cr, 9 to 15 wt.% of Ni, 0.12 wt.% or less of C, 0.005 to 1 wt.% of Si, 0.005 to 2.5 wt.% of Mn, 0.03 wt.% or less of P, 0.0003 to 0.01 wt.% of S and a balance of Fe and inevitable impurities, wherein the number of groups of inclusions counted under the following conditions is 20 pieces or less: the cross section of observation is a cross section in a direction perpendicular to a rolling direction; the visual field of observation is the visual field of an area corresponding to (the sheet thickness of the steel strip)x(the integration width of the steel strip: 6,000 mm); the shape of the intended inclusions is that of B-type inclusions; and the width of the inclusions is 50 μm or more.
