PURPOSE: An awning apparatus for an instrument panel for a vehicle is provided to shut direct light of the sun and not to overheat the instrument panel in a convenient way. CONSTITUTION: An awning apparatus for an instrument panel(40) for a vehicle includes a storing bar(20) of an awning(30), the awning, a plastic hanging piece(31) and a hanging groove(41). The storing bar of the awning is installed to a roof(51) portion toward a front window(50) of the vehicle, having a rotating bar and a return spring. The awning is wound around the rotating bar by the return spring. The awning is stored and draws out from the storing bar of the awning. The plastic hanging piece is arranged to a tip of the awning. The hanging groove on the instrument panel near the front window is combined with the plastic hanging piece. Thereby, the instrument panel is prevented from heating with direct light.
