PURPOSE: A device for preventing slip of a belt in a belt conveyor is provided to prevent water seal by effectively removing moisture attached to the belt and increasing driving friction force of a driving pulley, improve work efficiency, prevent an accident, and effectively process materials. CONSTITUTION: A device for preventing slip of a belt in a belt conveyor comprises a cleaner part(70) and a cleaner operation part(60). The cleaner part includes a triangular frame the width of which becomes wider in the advancing direction of the belt, and plural rubber plates mounted to the triangular frame. The bottom surface of the rubber plates are arranged parallel with the top surface of the belt. The cleaner operation part includes an operating shaft and a driving cylinder. One end of the operating shaft is rotatably connected to the triangular frame and the middle part of the operating shaft is rotatably connected to an outer support frame. The driving cylinder is rotatably connected to the other end of the operating shaft, to move the other end of the operating shaft back and forth. The cleaner operation part closely fastens or removes the cleaner part to/from the top surface of the belt according to the operation of the driving cylinder.
