An assembly presents and fits a printing block (10) to a print cylinder. The block is presented by a position-adjustable slab (8) coupled to a vacuum pump that holds the block in position. A perforated intermediate panel (1) is esp. placed on the slab top. The perforations (2) allow the passage of air between the slab and block (10).
