PURPOSE: A disposable face mask for filtering airborne dust is provided which facilitates cutting of filter sheet and ultrasonic fusion, fits well over the face of a wearer by upper and lower ridges formed at locations corresponding to the nose and chin of the wearer, thus providing comfort in wearing and enabling the mask to be used during violent exercise activities without concern about slipping off. CONSTITUTION: The disposable face mask having pleats(1,1') formed on a filter sheet(2), and finishing portions(4,4') having ear loops(3,3'), comprises: ridges(5,5') formed at upper and lower ends of the filter sheet(2), and steps(6,6') formed at upper and lower ends of the pleats(1,1') and cutting ends of the finishing portions(4,4'). The lower ridge(5') is larger and wider than the upper ridge(5), so that the mask fits over the nasal region and chin of the wearer.
