BUTTON LOCKING APPARATUS OF PARKING LEVER FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A button locking apparatus for a parking lever of a vehicle is provided to prevent a parking brake from releasing unnecessarily by fixing and releasing a button and to minimize friction between the button and a cap by supporting the button with the cap separating at a specific interval. CONSTITUTION: A button locking apparatus for a parking lever of a vehicle includes a button(30), a cap(10) and a liner(20). The button is installed inside a parking lever(1). More than one fixed protrusion(32) is formed to an outer peripheral surface of the button. The cap is installed to a side of the button. A fixing hole(12) is formed to a side of the cap corresponding to the fixed protrusion. More than one guide protrusion(11) is formed to an outer peripheral surface of the cap. The liner is fixed to an inner peripheral surface of the parking lever. A guide groove(21) is formed to an end of a side of the liner corresponding to the guide protrusion. Thereby, a parking brake is not released unnecessarily by fixing and releasing the button of the parking lever at a driver's own will. Rotation of the cap is prevented and friction between the button and the cap is minimized by supporting the button with the cap separating at a specific interval.
