The invention relates to an injection blow-moulding system for the production of hollow pre-injection mouldings and/or containers, especially bottles (B) made of plastic. Said injection blow-moulding system comprises an injection moulding machine which has a plurality of injection cavities and an equally large number of injection cores (10). The injection cores (10) can be retracted inside the injection cavities and are respectively surrounded by at least two detachable clamping jaws (12) which co-operate with the injection cavities. Each injection core is embodied as a blowing mandrel (10) and optionally as a stretching mandrel. The injection moulding machine also forms the blow machine, whereby the blow moulds are formed by the clamping jaws (12) surrounding the blow mandrels (10) and by blow cavities (17) which can be advanced to the blow mandrels (10) and can be connected to the clamping jaws (12) in an essentially gastight manner. The invention also relates to a method for operating an injection(stretch)blow moulding system.
