A weighted ball for physical exercise has a plastic or rubber spherical outer case with a transverse centreline tube linking the two sides. The tube provides a lifting surface for a finger strap (20) and finger pad (22). The pad is secured by a hook and loop fastener. The ball is filled via a hole (12) with a suitable material e.g. sand.
