FAT MEASUREMENT SYSTEM FOR MEASURING FAT OF ORGAN AND RECORDING MEDIUM RECORDED WITH FAT MEASUREMENT PROGRAM

PURPOSE: A fat measurement system and a recording medium are provided to measure the fat of an organ in a quantitative manner from the representative gray level value extracted from the quantized gray level distribution. CONSTITUTION: A fat measurement system comprises an ultrasonic image photographing unit(10); a storing unit(20) for storing the ultrasonic image information in such a manner that pixels have a gray level distribution; an arithmetic operation unit(30) including a cross section set portion(32) for setting the object cross sections and comparing cross sections, a representative gray level value calculating portion(34) for obtaining the representative gray level value of the cross sections, and a fat quantization portion(36) for quantizing the fat of the object cross section by using the relative value for the representative gray level value of the comparing cross sections; and an input/output unit(40) for inputting a signal for controlling the arithmetic operation unit or outputting the result of the arithmetic operation.
