An electron beam irradiator and an electron beam irradiating method in which even a surface layer composed of a material difficult to be hardened through irradiation with UV-rays and/or at least part of an underlying resin layer, e.g. a translucent layer, can be hardened readily and integrated exposure dose of electron beam can be made substantially uniform over the entire surface being irradiated. A system and a process for producing a disc-like body in which even a surface layer composed of a material difficult to be hardened through irradiation with UV-rays and/or at least part of an underlying resin layer, e.g. a translucent layer, can be formed efficiently on the disc-like body. The electron beam irradiator (1) comprises a section (17) for rotary-driving the disc-like body (2), a shielding container (10) for containing the disc-like body rotatably, and an electron beam irradiating section (11) provided in the shielding container such that the surface of the disc-like body is irradiated with the electron beam, wherein the intensity of the irradiating electron beam is set higher on the outer circumferential surface (2d) side of the disc-like body than on the inner circumferential surface (2c) side thereof in the radial direction when the surface (2d) of the disc-like body is irradiated with an electron beam from the electron beam irradiating section during rotation.
