PURPOSE: A pulsation damping apparatus in a power steering hydraulic system is provided to reduce abnormal pressure occurring to the power steering system because of pulsation when oil circulates. CONSTITUTION: A damper(A) is installed to a pressure hose(18) or a return tube. The damper is controlled by a control signal from a control device. The control device comprises a piezoelectric pressure detecting unit(100), an ECU(Electronic Control Unit,200) and an electric current supplying unit(300). The piezoelectric pressure detecting unit detects changes of pressure of oil in the pressure hose or the return tube. The ECU outputs a control signal to damp pulsation of oil according to changes of pressure of oil detected from the piezoelectric pressure detecting unit. The electric current supplying unit is synchronized by the control signal of the ECU to supply and cut electric current. Thereby, abnormal pressure of the power steering system caused by pulsation is controlled effectively.
